Trouble Shooting

Before contacting the service provider, or sending your unit for servicing, please review the following troubleshooting guide. This information could help you quickly solve a technical issue. If the problem still exists, please email us then. Our technician could assist in resolve the problem online.

Green LED light keeps on blinking even after program has completed:

For the older version of our winder products, the green LED light will blink when it is in its "Rest" mode; and the LED light will be OFF in its "Sleep" mode or when the winder is not turning.

For newer version of our winder products, the green LED light WILL keep on blinking in both the "Rest" and "Sleep" mode.   Thus, if you are having the newer version of our winder products, it is normal that the green LED light keeps on blinking even after it has completed its daily program.

This change is made so as to let the users aware the winder is in its normal daily operation, and will resume turning automatically (with the LED light blinking green).  So that users will not be confused and wonder whether the winder's power switch is OFF, or, if the winder is in its SLEEP mode.   If you are having the older version of our instruction manuals, please disregard the section pertains to the green LED light.  It is normal, if you are having the newer version of our winder products, that the green LED light keeps on blinking in both the "Rest" and "Sleep" mode.

"Rest" mode :
          The daily program has not completed yet; the winder will resume turning.
 "Sleep" mode:
          The daily program has been completed and the winder is in its "sleep" mode until the next day (if your winder has the Automatic Daily Function and you leave the main power switch ON).  If your winder has the Automatic Daily Function and you leave the main power switch ON, the winder will automatic start on the next day.  The green LED light will also keep on blinking during this "sleep" mode.

Motor stops turning:

Try the following: Turn the unit's main power switch OFF, then unplug the AC adaptor from the unit. Now re-plug the AC adaptor, turn the power switch ON again.  Sometimes a power outage or power surge could disrupt the program.  If the motor still not working, proceed with the next step (note: if you are using dry batteries, make sure the dry batteries are fully charged) ;

Turn the main power switch OFF, unplug the AC adaptor from the unit. If your watch winder is run by both AC or dry batteries, insert new dry batteries and turn the power switch ON.  If the motor works on dry batteries, but not with AC adaptor, then that means the AC adaptor might be faulty. Please email us, we will send you a new AC adaptor if it is still under the one year warranty, or within the Extended Warranty coverage period (please provide us the date of purchase also).

Please note that in some watch winder models, the program is such that the motor will turn for a period of time, then it will stop (or rest) for a period of time; then resume turning again.  It will follow the "turn-and-rest" program cycle until the designed program has completed.  So if you found the winder stops turning after it rotates for a period of time, it is in it's "REST" mode.  It should resume turning later on according to the program. The cycle will be repeated the whole day until it's designed program cycle has completed.

Loud Noise while turning:

Turn the unit OFF, then unplug the unit. Wait for a few minutes. Re-plug the unit to see if the noise persists. If it does, turn if OFF again, turn the rotating platform (not more than 1/4 round) gently by hand, clockwise and counter-clockwise for a couples of times. Wait for a moment, turn the unit ON again.

If trying the above and the problems still persist, please contact us for a consultation with our technician online, by contacting us via our online Contact Us form.
